Dave Miller – National Account Manager

David Miller, National Account Manager, is a knowledgeable sales person and seasoned negotiator, with more than ten years of experience in high-intensity sales positions.

David started his sales career at The Washington Post in the pre-print department. He honed his sales abilities at the Board of Trade in Chicago, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the youngest Vice President of Wellington Futures. Since that time, he has worked at J. Walter Thompson as Director of New Business Development for North America and as an independent consultant.

His insight and negotiating abilities have helped print advertising clients create highly successful loyalty programs and have significantly increased Web site traffic. Working directly with various manufacturers and advertisers, he creates meaningful incentives to customers and valuable ad space for advertisers.

In a particularly notable Web-based program, he increased the number of new members per month from 17,000 to over 200,000, making ad revenue soar to over $2,000,000 in only six months. On the print advertising side, David’s creativity and hard work helped Official Airline Guides fill their once barren books with advertisers. By analyzing the demographics of their readership - and the marketing materials of their competition – he was able to create high-impact marketing materials laden with benefits and strong points of differentiation.

David is known for being able to secure heavy-hitting clients such as American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Hyatt Hotels and Hilton Hotels, among others. He brings his well-tuned phone skills and engaging presentation style to Byles and Associates.
