Heather Prichard – Chief Operations Officer

Heather Prichard, Chief Operations Officer of Byles and Associates, is a communications professional with more than ten years experience in non profit organizations.

Ms. Prichard is the former Executive Director of CREnet, the nation’s largest membership association of school-based mediators and conflict resolvers. She served as President of the CREnet board, and negotiated merger discussions between CREnet and three other conflict resolution associations over a two year period. In addition, Ms. Prichard is the former director of American University’s conflict resolution education internship program, which received noteworthy praise from print and television media.

Before coming to Byles and Associates, she served as Director of Communications for the Association for Conflict Resolution. There, she launched and edited the association’s quarterly publication (ACResolution magazine), sold ads for the magazine, wrote and reviewed external communications, and managed the complete redesign of the associations’ Web site.

Over the last twelve years, she has created educational programs, organized conferences and special events, written grants, managed research projects, lead non-profit branding campaigns, designed brochures, and wrote published book chapters and newsletter articles. With years of experience in non profit organizations and educational settings, Heather brings her leadership skills and communications knowledge to Byles and Associates.
